How do I configure an FTP server with Windows Vista, you can access and share files with a Mac? I have tried using filezilla but it was too complicated. Can someone help me please, accurate and detailed.

You can use a FTP program. The tutorial below will help FileZilla FTP software. Link to download: http://filezilla-project.org/ and click on the download client FileZilla. FileZilla Installation article use: After entering http://www.w3hub.org/doc/filezilla/ FileZilla FTP client
1. Your IP address (XXXX)
2. Your FTP username
3. Your FTP password
You should be able to see the pages of your website. You can then drag and drop files onto the server or unload.

You are not authorized to FTP servers for file sharing. You need a window of the network and sharing in the Mac's System Preferences
