New Orleans Hostel Visiting New Orleans - Hostels? Public Transit? Volunteering?

Visiting New Orleans - hostels? public transit? volunteering? - new orleans hostel

Hello, I'm in New Orleans for a week in mid-August. I wonder if anyone good hostel, where I can meet people who know (I will) travel alone to work traffic in New Orleans (and if you can really go on) and when it places that need volunteers for a few days? Thank you!

Hello, I was in New Orleans after Hurricane Voluteering and yes, is the public transport is running. There are four or five shelters and now the cheapest is 15.00 clock and is used as the light: Volunteering is surprisingly difficult to organize in New Orleans itself (especially if they are just that for a few days) The best thing in New Orleans is likely to spend revenue from tourism in the region, you can also buy food at local stores instead of chains, it is the same for restaurants. Allocate money for the little people! For the latest information I suggest you seek protection through the following links Twizi.com

Check Campus Crusade for Christ. That's what I went with him, and it was great. You can stay in the camp of the good news, but I think you should arangment first. And I will not lie, it will usually remain with the Christians, but it's great. There are incredible people there, and it's fun.

There is still much to do to New Orleans. I contacted the American Red Cross, perhaps to see where help is needed.

The RTA bus works in New Orleans and reach most places, wherever you go.
